In Windows XP with JAWS
How to Make a Microsoft document on landscape layout(across the page) instead of a “normal” portrait layout.
After opening a new document and before you type on it. Do the following steps:
Open the file menu by… tpressing the alt key (found on either side of the space bar)
Arrow down in this menue with the arrow down key (found in the middle key in a group of four keys between the num pad keys and the key board keys at the bottom of a full keyboard).
Arrow down in this menu until you hear…PAGE SETUP
Press…Enter
You should hear…Page Setup…Margins page
Now press… control and tab key at the same time
You should hear…paper size tab
Press the tab key until you hear…portrait tab …radio button checked
Press the down arrow key once
You will hear…landscape radio button checked
Now tab down until you hear…OK
You are finished
You are now back to your document.
