Special Announcement!
We will be having a Technology Auction and Fund Raiser coming up on Saturday, September 20th
at 3:00 PM eastern.
Please feel free to talk to any board members about items you would like to donate.
Perhaps, you have updated your adaptive technology and have a talking dictionary lying around collecting dust,
or what about some software, keyboards, microphones, note takers,
cellphones, headphones, hard drives, and even computers,
that you've meant to sell, but just haven't found a buyer? We've got the perfect solution for you!
Donate your technology items, whether new or used, to us, so that we may auction them off and raise money for our site.
All proceeds will go toward the annual fees, which are due in February, to
keep this site up and running.
Most of the items will be electronic and hopefully accessible however we are not going to limit it to just that.
So if you have a quilt, afghan, or anything non electronic, just we will take it also.
We ask when you donate please let us know the Physical condition as well as the working order of your donation
We will also when possible ask anyone who is donating to pay for shipping to whomever wins the auction on that item.
If you wish to donate to this fund raiser, please, contact:
Email Bruce Please include the name of your item, how old the item is, model number, a brief description, any problems with the item,
and any other pertinent information about the item which would be beneficial for the new user to know.
As items are donated, we will post descriptions of them on the site for you to review. More information about this fund
raiser will be forthcoming, so stay tuned, and thank you for your support! Together, we can keep our community growing, and
truly an Out of Sight place to be!!

Foto Parl It uses magnetic strips like what is in a cosset. You pill off the paper on one
side of the tape and stick the tape to the edge of a peace of 2 inch wide brail paper.
It doesn't matter how long the paper is cut because you will or can cut and use 2 inch
by 2 inch peaces. It uses 4 double a batteries. When you start the edge of the strip
threw the little machine it will take the strip of paper and run it threw automatically
speaking what is on the tape. To record you just push and hold down a button while the
paper is being fed automatically threw the machine. On the corner is a cut groove that
you slide the tape side threw manually to erase the tape. You can rubber band the cards
to can goods or clothing and they can be used over again with the same can good or
article and be erased over and over.
